My name’s Evangeline, and I’m the founder and CEO of Learning with Evie!
Maths has been a lifelong fascination of mine, and getting to share my enthusiasm with students all over the world is an absolute privilege.
I grew up in a home where education and hard work were the norm— my dad was a dedicated doctor, and my mum began as a teacher before following her heart to become a nurse. They inspired me to value education, determination, and gratitude.
From an early age, I was always trying to go above and beyond — even learning maths with the year above in primary school! That love for problem-solving led me to study Electronic Engineering at university, a field where mathematics runs through everything.
It was during my studies that I first tutored a friend’s children in maths — and I quickly realised I’d found something I truly loved doing. Seeing a student’s confidence grow, watching that “lightbulb moment” when something clicks, is incredibly rewarding. Over 10 years and 30+ students later, my mission hasn’t changed: to empower learners to believe in themselves, enjoy maths, and achieve their goals.
